In the heart of Tuscany’s most coveted countryside, were rolling hills fade into ancient horizons, Villa Luce montaione reveals itself after a meticulous gut renovation and complete interior transformation, finalized just in time for the 2026 season. Every system, surface, and furnishing throughout the villa is entirely new and untouched, offering the rare privilege of experiencing a historic estate reborn with contemporary luxury.
The villa features five generous bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, each conceived as a private sanctuary opening onto sweeping views of the Tuscan landscape. The primary suite stands as a highlight, envisioned as a spa-like retreat where comfort, tranquility, and understated luxury converge. Throughout the interiors, original architectural elements—such as wood-burning fireplaces—coexist seamlessly with modern comforts, creating warm, elegant living areas.
A fully equipped catering kitchen, complemented by a traditional wood-fired pizza oven, transforms every gathering into a memorable culinary experience, whether enjoyed with family or orchestrated by a private chef. Additional amenities include a dedicated laundry room, ensuring effortless day-to-day living during extended stays.
Outdoors, the villa is framed by an extraordinary natural setting. A large travertine swimming pool takes center stage, mirroring the sky and surrounding hills, with a low corner featuring a single jet. Sun-drenched terraces and shaded loggias invite long alfresco meals, sunset aperitivi, and quiet moments immersed in nature, while an outdoor shower enhances the poolside experience.
For leisure and entertainment, the property offers a refined gaming lounge with a professional pool table, as well as dedicated cinema areas designed for relaxed evenings with friends and family. Set within a secure gated property, Villa Luce Montaione forms part of an expansive 1,200-acre private estate, offering privileged access to riding and hiking trails, extensive olive groves, and a rare white truffle forest—a truly exceptional feature that elevates the uniqueness of the setting.

Perfectly positioned just minutes from the medieval village of Montaione, the villa serves as an ideal base for exploring Tuscany’s most iconic destinations, including San Gimignano, the Chianti wine region, and Florence’s Renaissance treasures. Pisa and its world-famous Leaning Tower are also within easy reach, while both Florence and Pisa international airports are less than an hour away.
More than a villa, Villa Luce Montaione is a private gateway to an authentic yet elevated Tuscan lifestyle—where history, landscape, and contemporary comfort come together to redefine the experience of living in Tuscany.
The winery’s breathtaking structure is a result of seven years of engineering and construction. The concept behind was the family’s profound connection to and respect for the land, from it’s
Red – Brown earthy hues, to the completely natural building materia ls used in construction, a tribute to the beauty of the territories that have welcomed the ANTINORI family’s vineyards for generations
A former wine estate of the Antinori Family. Most of what is today the Villa Cosmiana estate was brought as a dowry to the Senator Amerigo Antinori (1748-1828) by his young wife Maddalena degli Alessandri in 1783. The senator, close advisor to the Grand Dukes of Tuscany Leopold I and Ferdinand III, then united these new lands with those that the Antinori already owned in the territory of Peccioli and created a new domain dedicated to Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian which took the name of “Poggio Cosmiano” or “Villa Cosmiana” (contraction of Cosmas and Damian in Italian) on which he built the first villa around an existing medieval tower.
Our family has owned it since the Guicciardini family bought it in 1871 (they had already owned it for a few decades in the 1700s) to reunite it with the Cusona farm, located on the other side of the valley, a stone’s throw away. Seven farms had Francesco Guicciardini, exponent of an important family in Florence and politician (he was also Sonnino’s minister), and seven between sons and daughters: in the early 1900s the Vico farm was attributed to his daughter Marcella.
We believe it is critically important to be part of a network of local producers, for the exchange of knowledge and practices in a changing environment.
